Product Description:

The AKD-P01206-NBAN-0000 servo drive from Kollmorgen supports both 1-phase/3-phase 120 to 240 VAC input with a frequency range of 50 to 400 Hz. It also operates on DC input as an alternative power source. This drive can be mounted in a vertical position inside a control cabinet with an adequate space on all sides for ventilation to keep the temperature below 40 degrees C.

The AKD-P01206-NBAN-0000 drive measures 196 mm H x 72 mm W x 187 mm D, without connectors and it weighs 2.0 kg. The rated input power of the drive is 3.82 kVA and the DC bus link voltage range is between 170 to 340 VDC. Its maximum inrush current during startup is 10 A while at continuous pace the output current is rated 12 A and the peak output current value reaches 30 A for a duration of 5 seconds. The AKD drive supports analog control with input of ~12 VDC and 16-bit resolution while its analog output is ~10 VDC with 16-bit resolution and 20 mA max current. It also supports seven digital inputs in the range of 3.5 to 30 VDC. At its X10 terminal its offers encoder feedback support and emulated output through the X9 terminal. This unit includes a service interface with Ethernet access at X11 and a motor's holding brake can be wired through the X2 connector.

The AKD-P01206-NBAN-0000 drive's voltage rise speed is 4.3 kV/s and it supports up to 30 switch on/off cycles per hour. Its velocity controller bandwidth reaches up to 800 Hz and the position controller bandwidth ranges from 1 to 250 Hz. The AKD drive meets SIL2 and PLd Cat.3 for STO safety and its switching frequency at the output stage is 8 kHz. It comes in an IP20 class protective enclosure.
