The AKD-P01206-NAAN-E000 is a single-axis servo drive produced by Kollmorgen and supplied within the AKD Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop power stage, it regulates torque, speed, and position of synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery such as packaging stations, conveyors, and gantry axes. By converting fixed AC line power to a variable, feedback-controlled three-phase output, the unit forms the interface between PLC motion commands and mechanical motion hardware in an industrial automation cell.

The drive is delivered in the Position Indexer version, so it can execute point-to-point moves from onboard tables without requiring an external motion controller. Continuous motor current is limited to 12 Arms, while short-duty peaks of up to 30 Arms for five seconds provide additional acceleration torque. When operated in steady-state conditions, the converter handles 3.82 kVA of apparent power and draws energy from a universal single- or three-phase AC supply of 120 / 240 Vac 1~/3~. Command and feedback exchange with the host control is handled through the drive's Analog interface, allowing simple velocity or torque reference signals as well as monitor outputs. The firmware language set is specified as Standard EU English, so menu text and diagnostic messages appear in a familiar default format. No expansion board is installed, and the option is listed as None (rev 7), which leaves the front panel available for the standard I/O connections. With a mass of only 2 kg, the standard-width housing supports dense mounting on DIN rail or back-panel plates without placing much load on the enclosure.
