The AKD-P00607-NBS3-0000 servo drive from Kollmorgen is an Ethernet based position indexer with customization for USA standards. This product does not have any option cards and is characterized by a standard housing. The device has an IP address that can be set using either the hardware option or the software option. This unit related SERCOS III bus interface supports both ring and line topologies and is available at the X5 and X6 connectors of the drive. Its communication with the SERCOS III network is determined by the built-in LEDs on the connectors. The product encompasses digital inputs that can be used with either switched +24 V or switched GND. This device also features digital inputs with protection for short circuits. The unit uses its set point input to set up a jog function. It has two I/O connectors to connect both analog as well as digital type I/O signals. This servo drive has a fault relay output connection at the X8 connector. The product features a timeframe of 10 ms to close and open its fault relay contact. This device outputs the messages stored from its pre-programmed functions through its first two digital inputs. The drive has a serial Hardware Enable input that makes its wiring mandatory. The unit comprises a floating digital input with DCOM8 reference common line for the Enable function. Its Enable function is available only when the STO input has a 24 V signal.
