The AKD-P00607-NBEC-E000 is a servo drive built by Kollmorgen within the AKD Servo Drives series. As a DIN-rail-mountable power stage, it interfaces between a motion controller and a synchronous servo motor, regulating torque, speed, or position in automated machinery. By converting incoming three-phase mains power into controlled motor current, the drive supports precise axis movement in packaging lines, pick-and-place tools, and other industrial equipment. Its layout is intended for compact control cabinets where accurate motor response and reliable network communication are required.
The drive accepts a three-phase input of 240 / 480 Vac 3~, allowing installation on low- or medium-voltage factory mains without hardware changes. During continuous duty, it supplies a motor phase current of 6 Arms, which indicates the sustained output available for normal operation. For short acceleration bursts of up to five seconds, the current ceiling rises to 18 Arms, supporting temporary torque peaks without immediate overcurrent shutdown. The internal power section is rated for 4.49 KVA in S1 operation, which is useful when sizing upstream electrical support. Communication with higher-level controllers is handled through EtherCAT, enabling deterministic data exchange for synchronized multi-axis motion.
Motion sequencing is executed by the built-in Position Indexer drive version, so position tables and homing logic can reside locally rather than in the controller. The electronics use the base hardware configuration (rev 8+), so no additional I/O boards are fitted. With a chassis mass of 2.7 kg at the standard width, the unit remains suitable for cabinet layouts that must account for panel loading and vibration. The user interface is supplied in Standard EU English, so parameter text, fault codes, and help screens appear in English for easier operation and review.
