The AKD-P00607-NBEC-0111 is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen and supplied in the AKD Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop motor controller, it regulates torque, velocity, and position for synchronous or induction motors used in automated machinery. It converts incoming electrical power into controlled motor output so the axis can respond accurately during starts, stops, reversals, and load changes. By matching drive output to real-time motion commands, the unit links higher-level PLC control with the mechanical axis and supports repeatable positioning, coordinated motion, and efficient operation in packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and other industrial systems.

The operating mode is a Position Indexer, allowing the drive to execute absolute and incremental moves triggered through I/O or network telegrams. System communication passes over EtherCAT, providing the deterministic timing required for synchronized multi-axis applications. Deterministic network timing is useful when several axes must start or stop together and maintain tight positional relationships during production. Under continuous duty, the power stage supports a nominal phase current of 6 Arms, and it can deliver 18 Arms for up to five seconds to cover acceleration peaks without oversizing the motor. The input section accepts a three-phase mains supply of 240 / 480 Vac 3~, so the same unit can be applied on low- or high-voltage plant systems without hardware changes.

Rated apparent input power is 4.49 kVA, which provides capacity for dynamic loading while remaining suitable for common branch circuit protection in industrial panels. The base unit is the rev 8+ version and does not have a hardware extension installed, so no mezzanine cards are fitted and the configuration remains limited to the integrated functions on the main board.
