The AKD-P00606-NAPN-0000 servo drive is an efficient digital servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen. The drive is designed exclusively for use in industries. The product is versatile, robust, and compact. It is intended to achieve the most accurate motion and the best output. The unit is compatible with several feedback devices and comes with PROFINET RT fieldbus interface. It must be transported, installed, and serviced with care. For instance, the drive should be installed and wired when it is not live. Only green colored wires with yellow strips must be used for Protective Earth wiring. The servo drive is not equipped with an internal regen resistor, but depending on the requirements of the application, an external resistor can be connected. The unit has an AC rated supply input frequency of 50 Hz to 400 Hz with a tolerance limit of +/-5%. The maximum continuous regen power of the device with its external resistor is 1.5 kW for 1 second. The absorption energy in the capacitors of the drive at 240 V is 20 W and 120 V is 60 W with +/-20% tolerance. As far as the switch-off behavior of the drive is concerned, its 24 V supply should remain constant. Its Hardware Enable input immediately disables the power stage. To perform controlled stops, configured digital inputs and fieldbus commands can be used. The servo drive is compliant with the EC 2006/42/EC machinery directives and EC 2014/35/EC low voltage directives. The relative humidity of the product when it is under operation is 5% to 85%. The drive must not have condensation on the surface during transport, operation, and storage. Installation of the drive should be done only by personnel who have the skill to operate such drives. It must be mounted inside a closed control cabinet with enough spacing above and below it for ventilation.
