The AKD-P00606-NACC-0000 Position Indexer servo drive is a reliable and versatile digital servo drive from the house of Kollmorgen. It is one of the fastest servo drives in the market, characterized by the most accurate motion and the best throughput. The device features plug-and-play compatibility with Kollmorgen motors. The unit should be installed only in industrial plants that fulfill the requirements of the regional directives. When transporting the device, caution must be observed; it must be free of shocks. The drive is fitted with both the EtherCAT and CANopen fieldbus connectors. A software parameter (DRV.TYPE) allows the selection of the features supported by the drive; EtherCAT and CANopen cannot be used at the same time. Prior to putting the unit to active use, it must be checked for signs of damage or defect. The weight of the servo drive is 1.1 kg, its height is 168 mm and its depth is 156 mm. The bandwidth of the current controller is 2.5 to 4 kHz, the bandwidth of the velocity controller is 0 to 1000 Hz, and the bandwidth of the position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The servo drive must not be disassembled for cleaning purposes. The unit should be decommissioned only after switching off the main switch and securing it against restarting. The servo drive is free from any type of hazardous substances. It has a STO (Safe Torque Off) digital input that features a single channel operating mode. The device must be installed only in machines that adhere to the required EC standards or directives. This servo drive is capable of controlling the holding brake of the associated motor in a drive system.
