The AKD-P00307-NCEI-0000 is an AC servo drive built by Kollmorgen for the AKD Servo Drives series. In an automation cell, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable, pulse-width-modulated output so that a connected motor can follow precise speed or position commands issued by the machine controller. By closing the current and velocity loops inside the drive, it relieves the PLC of high-bandwidth tasks and helps maintain repeatable motion profiles on gantries, indexing tables, or material-handling axes.
The drive operates from a three-phase input of 240 / 480 Vac 3~, letting the machine connect directly to common plant distribution voltages.
