The AKD-P00307-NBS3-0000 is a digital servo drive produced by Kollmorgen for the AKD Servo Drives series. It provides closed-loop control and power conversion for brushless servo motors used in packaging machines, gantry stages, and other motion axes. The drive regulates torque, speed, and position so commanded motion can be translated into stable motor response at the load. Because the current and velocity loops are closed inside the drive, the upstream controller can focus on machine sequencing and axis coordination rather than direct power-stage management. Its cabinet-mounted format also suits machines that require precise axis control without placing power electronics directly on the motor.

Communication with higher-level motion controllers is handled through SERCOS III fieldbus connectivity, providing deterministic cycle times for synchronized multi-axis coordination.
