The AKD-P00307-NBEC-0000 servo drive is produced by Kollmorgen within the AKD Servo Drives series. Classified as a Position Indexer, the drive can execute point-to-point or jog moves from its internal firmware, reducing PLC scan time in multi-axis machines. In industrial automation the unit converts three-phase AC energy into controls current to a compatible servo motor from a 240 / 480 VAC three-phase supply.
Input power handling starts with a rated supply of 240 / 480 VAC 3-phase, covering both low and high plant mains without hardware changes. At that input, the drive can deliver a continuous phase current of 3 Arms, which defines the sustainable torque bandwidth of the attached motor. For rapid acceleration it supplies up to 9 Arms for five seconds, giving extra headroom for overcoming static friction or high inertia loads. The power section is sized for 2.24 kVA, so cabinet breakers and wiring can be specified accurately. Deterministic axis synchronization is achieved through the integrated EtherCAT interface.
The drive is shipped in the Standard USA configuration, meaning parameter defaults such as inch-based feedback scaling and NEMA motor templates are preloaded.
