The AKD-P00306-NBCN-0000 is a digital servo drive produced by Kollmorgen within the AKD Servo Drives series. Designed for integration into multi-axis machinery, the unit regulates torque, speed, or position of matched synchronous motors used in packaging lines, robotics, and material-handling equipment. By converting line power into controlled three-phase output, the drive forms the interface between motion controllers and actuators inside automated cells. Its compact housing supports cabinet installation where space is limited and fast axis response is required. This arrangement lets the controller command motor output precisely during repeated starts, stops, and speed changes.
The drive is shipped in the Position Indexer version, so its onboard motion functions can execute stored move sequences without an external PLC. Communication to the supervisory network is provided through the CANopen fieldbus interface. Under continuous duty, the power stage supplies 3 Arms of nominal output current, and it can deliver 9 Arms for up to five seconds to cover acceleration peaks. The input section accepts single- or three-phase mains at 120 / 240 Vac 1~/3~, allowing the same model to be wired to light industrial or higher-power panels without hardware changes. Revision 8 includes no optional extension boards, so the footprint remains unchanged.

Despite this rating, the enclosure weighs only 1.1 kg, so it can be mounted directly on DIN rail alongside other AKD servo drives without placing excessive load on lightweight panels.
