The AKD-P00306-NAAN-0000 is an industry-standard servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen. It falls under the AKD family featuring a drive position indexer, a current rating of 3Arms, and a voltage rating of 120/240 Vac. It comprises of an analog connectivity option. The position indexer allows the drive to command multiple motions, make decisions, process I/O, and modify the drive process to match base drive. The housing is standard and connectivity is either through analog, PROFINET, EtherCAT, or CANopen. The supply voltage range is between 120 V to 480 V +/-10%.

The AKD-P00306-NAAN-0000 supports ENDAT 2.1 & 2.2, HIPERFACE, BiSS protocols onboard and is compatible with synchronous servomotors, induction machines, and linear motors. It should be operated in ambient conditions ranging from 0 to 40 degrees operating temperature, 5 to 85% relative humidity, and up to 1000meters above sea level installation elevation. The motor comes with an in-built fan for cooling purposes and mounting should assume a vertical position. It should be operated in environments of pollution level 2. The rated supply input frequency is 50Hz to 400Hz, rated input current is 2.7A, and maximum inrush current is capped at 9A.

The AKD-P00306-NAAN-0000 should be transported, installed or tested by a person well-versed in handling electrostatically sensitive components. The operator should also observe ISO 12100/ IEC 60364/ IEC 60664 and other national regulations. During operation, the heatsink can exceed 80 degrees. Avoid touching the motor until the temperature drops below 40 degrees. The motor can only be used as part of an electric machine or apparatus. It is intended for driving servo motors and linear motors among others. Ensure that installation is in a control cabinet to protect it from extrinsic objects and liquids.
