Kollmorgen’s AKD-N01207-DBEC-E000 belongs to the AKD Servo Drives series and functions as a decentralized servo drive for motion axes located outside the main control cabinet. By combining power electronics, the fieldbus interface, and the motor connection in a single IP-rated housing, it regulates torque and speed for synchronous and induction motors used in conveyors, indexing tables, and packaging machines. The unit is supplied in the Standard EU English customization variant, which keeps menu text and documentation aligned across European installations. This layout also supports machine-mounted use where a separate enclosure is not preferred.

The drive is a Near Servo Drive (IP65/67), meaning the enclosure resists dust and water jets so it can be mounted directly on machinery without additional shielding.
