The AKD-N00607-DBEC-E000 Ethernet servo drive produced by Kollmorgen is a decentralized servo drive. This product can be installed in a compact size control cabinet. This device incorporates a reduced cabling mechanism because of its DC supply, I/O level and more. The unit features a simple and fast assembly with readymade cables from the manufacturer. It does not depict a derated performance and has a high level of flexibility. The drive comes with an IP 67 degree of protection. This product is widely deployed in food and beverage industries. The device supports a cold plate mounting process. This unit permits small motor and drive combinations. It has a current rating of 3 A to 6 A. The drive features hybrid fieldbus and DC bus connections. The product comes with a motion bus and support for different types of feedback devices onboard. This device has a supply voltage ranging from 55 VDC to 800 VDC. The unit must encompass appropriate insulation/creepage distances for safe electrical separation in accordance with IEC 61800-5-1 specifications. It is integrated with a SIL 2 Safe Torque Off function. The servo drive has a power section with an IGBT module featuring floating current measurement at its output stage. This product can be operated in induction machines. The device has a temperature monitoring mechanism to monitor its temperature as well as the temperature of the connected motor. This unit can be made to work like a digital current controller, an adjustable digital velocity controller or a software option position controller for a brief preset time.
