The AKD-N00307-DBEC-E000 servo drive is manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the AKD Servo Drives series. This decentralized unit manages three-phase brushless motors directly on the machine, eliminating long shielded cable runs back to a central cabinet. It supplies closed-loop torque, velocity, and position control for packaging, material handling, and assembly equipment that depends on coordinated axis motion. By combining power electronics, feedback processing, and safety functions in an IP-rated housing, the drive supports modular machine layouts and reduces enclosure heat loads in tightly packed production lines. Its near-motor installation can also shorten cable routing in distributed automation systems.
