The AKD-M02406-M1EC-0000 Kollmorgen digital servo drive operates as a motion control drive. This product comes with a 1.2 GHz motion card as its extension option. The device is equipped with additional digital inputs and outputs. This unit is intended to function like a motion controller. It has an extended width housing. The drive comes with an EtherCAT connectivity option and can operate as a slave in an EtherCAT network. This product can be connected to an industrial PC by using a standard Cat.5 Ethernet cable to establish a connection between its service interface and the Ethernet interface of the PC. The device related IP address can be reset by switching off and switching on the 24 V supply voltage. This unit features a static IP address when it has a direct connection with a PC. Its static address portrays the 192.168.0.nn format where nn is a value ranging from 01 to 99. The drive has one push-button and two rotary switches. This product deploys its rotary switches to select the IP address or a predefined function for execution. The device displays the fault codes encountered during operation on its LED display. This unit does not have an SD card slot. The servo drive associated motion block, position control and operating parameters can be set up by using the WorkBench software on an ordinary commercial PC.
