Product Description:
The AKD-M00307-M1EC-0000 AC servo drive comes with a Kollmorgen WorkBench GUI software to facilitate easy installation and programming. The device comes with Motion Card 1.2 GHz extension and is customized in compliance with US standards. The unit features fast data acquisition. It is SIL-qualified and comes with current, over-voltage, and temperature detection for added dependability. The servo drive is versatile, robust, and has a compact design that features industry-leading power density. It must at no time be allowed to come in contact with any liquids. The AKD servo drive comes with a built-in advanced braking mode that operates fully in hardware. This dynamic braking method slows down the servo drive by dissipating the mechanical energy that is driven by the motor back EMF. The unit has an internal regen resistor and can be connected to an external resistor (33 Ohm). The continuous output power of the device is 2000 Watts and the peak time is 5 seconds. The maximum regen duty cycle of the drive is 15%. Its DC bus capacitance is 235 microfarads. The drive must always be grounded before use. The product must always be placed on a conductive surface. The unit has a STO functional safe function, which can secure the drive in standstill using its internal electronics. Even when power is supplied, the STO protects the drive shaft against unintentional restart. When a suspended load is not blocked properly, it could result in serious injury. When STO is active, it is not possible for the servo drive to hold a vertical load. A safe mechanical blocking such as a motor-holding brake should be added in this case. There is a stop function defined as per IEC 60204 standards that shuts down the device in normal operation.
