The AKD-B02407-NCAN-0000 is a digital servo drive built by Kollmorgen within the AKD Servo Drives series. The unit regulates torque, velocity, and position of compatible synchronous or induction motors, forming the motion-control link between a higher-level controller and the mechanical axis in automated cells, packaging machinery, or material-handling stations. It includes integrated power electronics and signal interfaces that translate command references into controlled three-phase output, maintaining precise dynamic response and protecting the motor during acceleration and braking sequences.
The drive accepts a three-phase input of 240 / 480 Vac 3~, allowing it to operate on common factory mains without hardware changes. Under continuous duty, it can deliver 24 Arms to the motor, a current level suited to mid-frame servomotors used in pick-and-place gantries or indexing tables. For short bursts of up to five seconds, the current ceiling rises to 48 Arms, providing extra acceleration torque without thermal overload.
