Product Description:
The AKD-B01206-NBAN-0000 base Ethernet servo drive is one of the most reliable and versatile digital servo drives manufactured by Kollmorgen. One of the fastest servo drives, it is characterized by the most precise motion and the best output. The unit comes with plug-and-play compatibility with Kollmorgen motors. The drive must be installed only in an industrial plant that follows the complete regional directives related protocol. When transporting the unit, precaution should be taken; the transporting should be done without subjecting the drive to shocks. The continuous output power of the servo drive is 4000 Watts and its current rating is 12 Arms.
The switching frequency of the output stage of the unit is 8 kHz. The bandwidth of the current controller is 2 to 3 kHz, the bandwidth of the velocity controller is 0 to 800 Hz, and the bandwidth of the position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The PE block of the drive supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. The device comes with an internal regen resistor and if required, an external resistor can be connected. The drive has a resistance of 15 Ohms for both the internal and external regen resistors. The unit has a continuous regen power of 3 kW for its external resistor. Extreme caution should be exercised when installing, operating, and repairing the AKD servo drive. The drive should be mounted in a closed control cabinet and the site should be free from corrosive or conductive materials. There is a risk of electrical shock if the motor or the amplifier is not EMC-grounded properly. Non-conductive mounting plates should not be used. In the case of unfavorable circumstances, a copper mesh tape should be used between the earthing bolts and earth potential so as to deflect currents. When it gets overheated, the unit will switch itself off.
