The unit functions as a digital AC servo amplifier that modulates voltage and current for synchronous or induction motors under closed-loop speed, torque, or position control. By translating motion commands from PLCs or embedded controllers into precise motor excitation, the drive enables coordinated axis movement in automated assembly cells, conveyors, and pick-and-place stations. It is intended for cabinet-mounted motion systems that need consistent axis response during repeated production cycles. This operating role lets the amplifier maintain smooth motion on axes that must accelerate, hold position, and reverse direction without large tracking error.

The drive uses the Standard USA variant, so its default settings and safety markings follow North American conventions. The electronics are built to the Base level, which provides core axis-control functions without added option modules. Command and feedback exchange takes place through an analog interface, allowing ±10 V velocity or torque references from legacy motion controllers. The continuous thermal rating is 12 Arms, so the drive can supply that current during sustained operation when cabinet temperature remains within limits. For short overloads, it can source up to 30 Arms for five seconds to help the motor overcome inertia or startup friction.

Under steady operation, the drive draws 3.82 kVA at the motor’s rated duty cycle. It accepts 120 / 240 Vac 1~/3~ input, so the same model can operate from single-phase or three-phase supplies in compact machines or multi-axis cabinets. This broad supply compatibility helps the platform fit both standalone stations and larger distributed systems without requiring a different drive frame. The hardware extension is no hardware extension, revision 7, so no auxiliary expansion boards are fitted and internal airflow remains unobstructed. With a mass of 2 kg, the housing can be mounted on a DIN rail or backplate without extra support brackets.
