Product Description:
The AKD-B00607-NAAN-0000 is a digital servo drive engineered by Kollmorgen for the AKD Servo Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency plant power into precisely regulated output that keeps brushless servomotors synchronized with motion commands in packaging lines, pick-and-place systems, and compact machining centers. Acting as the closed-loop current and voltage regulator between the controller and motor, the device supports fast settling times, reduced position error, and integrated protection against overtemperature, short circuit, and DC-bus overvoltage.
The drive accepts a three-phase mains supply of 240/480 V AC 3-phase, allowing installation on low- or medium-voltage distribution panels without step-down transformers. Under continuous duty, it delivers a nominal output current of 6 Arms, which suits mid-frame Kollmorgen servo motors used in light-to-medium load axes. For short bursts of up to five seconds, the current can rise to 18 Arms, supporting acceleration torque demands or shock loads without triggering overcurrent faults. To supply this output, the converter draws up to 4.49 kVA from the line. Motion commands reach the drive through an analog command interface, simplifying retrofit into controllers that output ±10 V velocity or torque references.
The unit’s ordering code indicates its application-level configuration. The Standard USA customization variant aligns labeling, fusing, and EMC filters with North American regulations. The unit is supplied in the Base drive version, so advanced safety or I/O expansions must be provided externally if required. With no hardware expansion (rev 7), all option slots remain open for future plug-in cards. With a mass of only 2.7 kg, the standard-width enclosure can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel and places minimal load on cabinet thermal management.
