The AKT-DT-2RT-000 is a relay-based digital output terminal manufactured by Kollmorgen for the AKT IO Terminals series. As an Advanced Kollmorgen Terminal module, it occupies one slot on the fieldbus rail and provides two independent relay points that can drive pilot devices, indicator lamps, or low-duty contactors in automated machines. By converting controller commands into isolated contact closures, it bridges low-energy logic levels and higher-voltage field circuits commonly found in industrial automation cells. Because the outputs are relay based, the terminal is suited to simple on-off switching tasks where electrical isolation between the control side and the load circuit is required.
This module draws a control-side bus current of 85 mA, so system power budgeting must accommodate that load on the supply line. Each relay can switch a continuous load of up to 2.0 A, and the contacts are rated for a maximum of 230 V AC / 30 V DC, allowing either mains-level AC devices or low-voltage DC solenoids to be driven.
