The AKT-DT-004-000 is an output terminal produced by Kollmorgen within the AKT IO Terminals series. It plugs into an EtherCAT or similar fieldbus row to drive discrete actuators in machinery and material-handling stations. By converting controller commands into switched 24-volt lines, the unit provides basic on/off control that is critical for solenoids, indicator lamps, and small relays in distributed automation islands.
