The AKT-DNH-008-000 terminal is one of the several input terminals manufactured by Kollmorgen. This digital input terminal has a nominal voltage rating of 24VDC with a possible variation of -15% / +20%. It does not have any ’0’ signal and ’1’ signal current and voltage ratings. The module features eight channels with a positive switching mechanism that is capable of receiving binary control signals. These signals are acquired via a process level and then transmitted in an electrically isolated format. The transmission is done to an automation unit of a higher level. The advanced terminal supports DIN rail mounting. This lightweight module weighs 55 grams.
The bus terminal has eight light-emitting diodes above the eight inputs. The product is a good choice for use in places where space is a constraint. It is typically installed inside a control cabinet in any position. The LEDs are used to indicate the signal state of the eight channels. The LEDs are arranged in two columns at the top of the unit. Two inputs of the product act as power contacts. The device is intended for operation between an ambient temperature range of 0°C and 55°C.
