It converts a regulated DC supply into a controlled three-phase output that powers servomotors used in presses, gantry axes, and packaging machines. The device integrates with motion controllers over a CAN fieldbus to deliver deterministic torque and velocity profiles for industrial automation.
With a nominal input of 48 VDC, the drive can supply up to 400 Arms for one hour, allowing sustained high-torque cycles without thermal derating. During the same duty period, it delivers 22.0 kVA of apparent power to the motor terminals through an internal inverter that switches at 8 kHz to minimize current ripple and acoustic noise. The enclosure carries an IP54 rating, so dust ingress is limited and splashing water is tolerated when the unit is cabinet-mounted. Thermal safeguards begin to reduce output when the heat sink reaches 85 °C and shut the stage down at 125 °C. If a fault is detected, drive output is inhibited for 150 ms, giving downstream contactors time to open before re-enabling can occur. With a mass of only 9.7 kg, the module supports panel mounting while meeting the stated vibration limits for mobile machinery.
