The controller’s open architecture is built around a 32-bit RISC processor that runs the Linux operating system, allowing user-defined code to execute real-time tasks. Field wiring is simplified by 11 analog inputs, 12 digital inputs, 16 discrete outputs, and 6 encoder inputs; these channels allow the unit to read sensors, issue motion commands, and close position loops without additional expansion cards.
