The unit converts regulated three-phase drive current into precise rotary motion, making it suitable for indexing tables, pick-and-place arms, and other closed-loop automation axes. By pairing feedback from an internal resolver with its magnetic design, the motor delivers repeatable positioning and speed control for applications where cycle times and accuracy must remain consistent. Its brushless design reduces mechanical wear associated with commutators and supports frequent starts, stops, and direction changes in automated machinery.
Six stator poles establish the electromagnetic field, while the resolver contains two poles for commutation feedback. This protection is especially useful during prolonged holding periods or repetitive acceleration cycles that increase winding temperature.
