The 6SM 45-M3000-A is a frame-size 45 synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the 6SM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The unit is built for closed-loop industrial axes that need repeatable positioning, speed tracking, and moderate continuous power. By converting drive current into controlled rotary motion, the motor couples directly to gearboxes, ball screws, or belt transmissions and supplies the mechanical work required in automated assembly, packaging, or inspection stations.
During continuous operation, the motor draws a rated phase current of 1.3 A from the servo amplifier. Under those electrical conditions, it provides 0.5 kW of mechanical power while producing 1.6 Nm of torque at a shaft speed of 3000 rpm.
