Product Description:
The ACO5008D is a state-of-the-art servo drive designed by Kollmorgen to provide long-lasting and highly reliable motion control in production and processing systems. This drive is a programmable device that can be configured using a windows-based software. The programming software and programming manual are included in a CD-ROM that is delivered with the drive. The ACO5008D servo drive features a Pulse Width Modulation technology, which reduces energy consumption, aids power control, and provides the device with impressive noise immunity. It also features the traditional ACOMEL Selective Harmonic Suppression. During the configuration of this product, operators are allowed to select a large number of free programmable parameters to modify the operation of the drive to meet specific requirements. The ACO5008D servo drive is internationally certified, and its housing carries certification that indicates that it is CE certified and UL listed.
The ACO5008D servo drive does not integrate any input line overload protection; the operator is expected to provide an external overload protection. Also, the drive cannot provide overspeed protection; this is to be produced by the motor manufacturers. However, ground short-circuit protection is provided by the drive at power ON and at the terminals.
The operation efficiency of the ACO5008D servo drive during operation is 96 percent, the permissible ambient temperature of the drive is also between 0 to about 40 degree Celsius. The power supply module of this product features a USB port that is dedicated as a service port and is used in the programming of the drive, Updating the firmware, commissioning the installation, and debugging operation. The drive also features a seven-segment LED display that shows the current status of the drive. This display is also used as a fault indicator.
