By combining onboard motion logic with field-level I/O, the unit replaces separate controllers and delivers time-critical commands directly to connected equipment. In industrial automation, it sends programmed velocity and position profiles so conveyors, rotary tables, or pick-and-place axes move the required distance during every cycle.
The control electronics are powered from a dedicated 24 VDC rail, and user commands reach the drive through 8 optically isolated digital inputs that accept sinking or sourcing signals. Conversion efficiency reaches 96% under nominal load, which limits heat generation in the panel while the unit supplies connected motors. The carrier frequency can be set as high as 5000 Hz, allowing rapid pulse-train updates during high-speed positioning.
