KEB manufactures the G3.3ADL71K4 within its SM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This foot-mounted servo motor is supplied as a compact geared unit intended for closed-loop control with KEB inverters. By combining synchronous motor technology with an integral planetary gearbox, it provides repeatable speed and torque regulation for indexing tables, pick-and-place axes, and other precision stations in automated production lines. The geared configuration also allows the motor to operate at high speed while delivering lower output speed and increased torque to the connected load.
The stator is wound for 400 V operation, with the drive supplying a rated phase current of 0.78 A and enabling a mechanical output of 0.25 kW at the motor shaft. When the rotor turns at 4000 rpm, this model attains an overall efficiency of 64.6%, so roughly two-thirds of the electrical power is converted into mechanical work.
