The E5.SM.E00-24S0 is a synchronous servo motor produced by KEB for the SM Synchronous Servo Motors series. In automated assembly lines, this motor couples with an inverter to drive linear actuators, conveyors, or rotary tables that require precise position control and fast torque response. By converting controlled three-phase electrical power into smooth rotation, it supports closed-loop motion tasks that require repeatable accuracy and compact frame dimensions. The motor’s electrical and mechanical characteristics suit mid-range power applications in packaging, woodworking, and light material-handling cells.
Thermal management relies on self-cooling, so airflow over the housing is sufficient without external blowers.
