By synchronizing its rotor field with the stator excitation, the unit provides precise velocity and torque regulation, allowing controllers to position loads accurately over repetitive duty cycles common in automated production. This operating principle helps the motor respond smoothly during repeated starts, stops, and speed changes. The compact frame also fits into limited installation space.
The electrical rating combines a supply of 400 V with a base speed of 3000 rpm, yielding 1.57 kW of continuous mechanical output. Under these conditions, the shaft supplies 5 Nm while the phase windings require 4.2 A. Locked-rotor performance peaks at a stall torque of 6 Nm, and the drive can inject up to 21 A during transient events such as acceleration or impact loading.
