Product Description:
The 43.SM.200-64CJ is a synchronous servo motor produced by KEB within the SM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As an electromechanical drive component, it converts controlled current from a servo amplifier into precise shaft rotation for positioning, indexing, and velocity regulation in automated machinery. The unit uses three-phase power and is intended for installations that require compact power density to move tooling, conveyor elements, or robotic joints with repeatable accuracy.
This model reaches a top speed of 6000 rpm, allowing fast cycle times when paired with a drive that can manage the corresponding electrical frequency. When energized at stall, it supplies a constant torque of 7.5 Nm to hold a stationary load. Its stator has a nominal line voltage of 330 V for use with compatible 400 V class systems, while the winding can also accept 560 V DC from an intermediate bus. A rotor inertia of 4.5 kgcm² supports responsive acceleration while providing sufficient mass for smooth speed regulation. The Motor Size 43 frame establishes the mechanical envelope and mounting pattern used to connect the motor to a gearbox or machine flange.
The housing has an IP54 protection rating, helping prevent harmful dust deposits and water splashes from reaching the internal windings during normal factory operation. The motor has an overall mass of 7.6 kg, which makes it suitable for installations where axis weight and vibration must be considered. A B5 IFT5-compatible flange provides a rigid pilot for concentric alignment with the driven equipment. The shaft includes a feather key that transfers torque to a coupling or gearbox without slippage. Thermal management relies on a self-cooling system that removes operating heat without an external blower. The motor uses a long, three-phase synchronous design and does not include an internal brake, so a mechanical lock or the drive’s static torque must hold the axis when required.
