The 31.SM.201-32B0 synchronous servo motor is built by KEB as part of the SM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Intended for precision control tasks, the unit delivers closed-loop motion in compact automation stations. A two-pole SSBH-15-E-5 resolver returns the rotor position in real time, allowing the motor to integrate with compatible KEB drive electronics for accurate speed and position regulation.
The continuous output reaches 0.16 kW at a rated torque of 0.55 Nm. The shaft can operate steadily at 3000 rpm when the drive supplies a current of 1.0 A. The nominal terminal voltage is 190 V, making the motor suitable for 230 V class inverters or 320 V DC buses used in low-power control cabinets. Its long-frame, three-phase synchronous design provides additional stack length, while self-cooling keeps the frame temperature within operating limits during continuous duty. The integrated brake draws 0.50 A at 24 V and produces 4.5 Nm of holding torque, allowing it to secure vertical loads when the shaft is stationary. A keyed shaft permits direct connection to a coupling, and the B5 IFT5 flange supports attachment to compatible gearheads.
