14.SM.000-4400 is a servo motor from KEB Automation. Servo motors support feedback, which is used by the motor controller to accurately control motor parameters including speed, torque and position. Voltage rating of the motor is 330 Volts. Its speed rating is 4000 RPM. The rated torque is 5.7 Nm and the maximum torque is 9.6 Nm. The input current rating is 5.3 Amps. Housing of the motor complies with IP65 requirements, which means the motor is dustproof. It is also safe from low-pressure water jets, and can be installed in adverse operating conditions. The motor is not intended for direct connection to a three-phase system. It must be controlled by a compatible servo controller.

The main motor rotor is balanced by a feathery key and complies with DIN 6885-1. For reliable and safe operation, the motor must be protected from shocks and impacts. Bearings used on the motor have a 20,000 hour service life. They don’t require lubrication during operation. A rotatable angular flange socket provides a reliable and secure connection for the motor and encoder.
