The 29.R6.S1P-910D is a line-regeneration module manufactured by KEB for the R6 Combivert Line Regen Drives series. It connects to common DC bus networks and channels braking energy back to the AC mains, reducing heat and lowering total power consumption in large inverter installations. By converting excess DC voltage into grid-synchronous current, the drive supports continuous deceleration duty on hoists, centrifuges, and test stands without relying on external braking resistors.
The unit interfaces with a three-phase supply rated at 400 V and can draw a continuous line current of 485 A while maintaining a DC bus level of 540 V DC. Internal losses are limited to 2800 W, so most of the recovered energy can be returned to the grid instead of being dissipated as heat. An overvoltage threshold of 800 V DC disconnects the converter when the bus rises beyond safe operating limits. The module has an input power capability of 336 kVA and a continuous regeneration capacity of 346 kVA. Its feedback current reaches 590 A DC during normal regenerative operation. A short-term overload allowance of 625 A supports temporary increases in current before the protective functions intervene.
The housing measures 340 × 960 × 453 mm and weighs 97.5 kg, allowing cabinet installation alongside high-power inverters.
