The 15.R6.S1E-900A is a line regeneration module produced by KEB and supplied within the R6 Combivert Line Regen Drives series. The unit connects to the DC bus of matched inverters and channels surplus braking energy back into the three-phase supply, reducing heat in braking resistors and lowering overall power consumption in automated hoists, centrifuges, and conveying lines. As part of a regenerative front end, it maintains bus stability while permitting bidirectional power flow to the mains when motor loads decelerate.
It operates with a rated mains voltage of 400 V and is designed for three-phase operation, so it can be wired directly to standard factory distribution panels. On the supply side, the converter draws a nominal current of 26 A and can deliver 18 kVA of apparent power; the active component of that exchange is 16 kW. These figures establish the continuous thermal load for upstream protection equipment. A built-in protection routine trips after the current rises to 160% of the nominal value, shielding the semiconductors from extended overloads.
