Product Description:
The 18.R4.T60-1019 is a cabinet-mounted regenerative module supplied within the R4 Combivert Regenerative Units series from KEB. Installed between an AC drive group and the facility mains, the unit channels surplus braking energy back to the power network instead of converting it to heat, improving overall efficiency in conveyor lines, test stands, and similar automation tasks. It is designed as a single, self-contained component that works with Combivert inverters, giving system builders a compact path to four-quadrant operation without adding external braking resistors. This arrangement allows connected motors to operate during both powered motion and regenerative braking while returning recoverable energy to the facility supply.
The built-in filter provides radio interference suppression, so conducted and radiated emissions remain below industrial EMC limits when the device returns energy to the line. Cabinet mounting is handled through holes that accept fasteners up to 6.5 mm in diameter. The vertical bolt centers are spaced at 320 mm, while the horizontal centers are spaced at 100 mm. These fixed mounting pitches align with common back-panel drilling patterns and provide consistent attachment points within the control cabinet. With an overall depth of 230 mm, the enclosure leaves clearance for airflow in shallow control cabinets and avoids encroaching on adjacent drive wiring channels. Its proportions also allow power and control conductors to be routed without obstructing the front of the module.
The overall height of 340 mm provides sufficient front surface for status lamps and terminal markings without requiring additional cabinet width. Its side-to-side thickness is limited to 120 mm, so the unit can be fitted beside line reactors or contactors while maintaining the recommended wiring bend radius. The design contains one power section, so parallel regenerative stacks are not required for the intended configuration. A single enclosure contains the energy-return electronics, filter, connection points, and indicators needed for integration with the associated drive group. The narrow housing supports side-by-side placement with related power components, while the available front area keeps operating information visible after installation.
