Product Description:
The 19.P6.H2G-Y3YB is a pitch-drive inverter manufactured by KEB within the P6 Combivert Pitch Drives series. In wind-turbine automation, it modulates motor torque so that blade angles can be adjusted for power regulation, startup, and fail-safe stopping. By connecting to the mains supply and mounting directly to the nacelle frame, the unit supplies controlled AC power to electric pitch actuators while protecting its electronics from harsh tower conditions.
This drive accepts a nominal supply of 400 V and remains functional across an input range of 320–528 V, matching the 50 or 60 Hz grids common in onshore and offshore installations. The unit operates with a three-phase supply, and its internal power stage delivers an adjustable output frequency of 0–200 Hz, allowing synchronous or induction motors to operate across a broad speed range. A cabinet heater powered by the line supply prevents condensation when the ambient temperature falls. The specified cabinet temperature range is -30 to 65 °C. The heat sink side is sealed to IP54, helping prevent dust ingress and water spray while Y-pattern fans pull air through the through-mount channels. Continuous service is permitted at relative humidity levels from 5 to 85 percent, and the thermal plate may operate from -30 to 55 °C without derating when the required airflow is maintained.
The aluminum radiator must not exceed 90 °C, and a software monitor disables the gate drivers if this limit is reached. Standard performance is maintained at site altitudes up to 3000 m, where lower air density can reduce convective cooling. Condition monitoring is provided by a package containing humidity, orientation, and analog sensors, which sends status data to the turbine controller. The unit has a total mass of 16 kg, supporting installation within the limited space of a wind-turbine nacelle. Its housing and cooling arrangement are suited to direct integration with the pitch actuator system.
