The 16.F6.A32-3511 inverter is produced by KEB as part of the F6 Combivert Inverter Drives series. It functions as a power and control interface between the plant supply and an AC motor, generating variable voltage and frequency so that speed regulation, positioning, or torque limiting can be performed directly from the drive instead of through mechanical gearing. Within an automation cell, the product enables coordinated motion and energy savings by responding to commands issued over industrial networks and local digital or analog I/O.
It integrates a multi-channel communications stack. The drive’s dual-purpose interface supports CAN, Diagnosis RS485/232, so external controllers and diagnostic tools can access parameters in real time. For high-speed deterministic exchange, its native EtherCAT port aligns with distributed clock operation, while axis behavior follows the CiA 402 (IEC 61800-7) profile to support standard PLC motion control structures.
