The 15.F6.A32-3513 is an AC inverter drive produced by KEB within the F6 Combivert Inverter Drives series. In plant automation, the unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that lets controllers regulate induction or permanent-magnet motors without mechanical throttling. The drive acts as a programmable power stage, coordinating torque, speed, and braking functions in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling machines. Because it accepts multiple sensor and control channels, it can connect directly to PLCs and safety circuits. This connectivity allows the inverter to exchange operating commands and status information with the surrounding control system.
Control flexibility begins with 3 differential analog input channels that accept process references such as speed demand or torque limits. A unipolar analog output is provided with a full-scale range of 10 V. Its unipolar signal allows devices that accept a 0–10 V reference to be connected without signal inversion. Discrete signaling is covered by 8 optically isolated digital inputs that control functions such as enable, jog, and fault reset. An integrated safety module supports STO and SS1 functions without external relays, reducing wiring when the inverter is installed near guarded equipment. These virtual resources do not consume physical terminals, but they remain accessible through the fieldbus connection. They can carry status information or diagnostic flags to higher-level controllers while preserving the physical inputs and outputs for essential machine signals.
