Product Description:
The 15.F6.A32-3511 is an inverter drive produced by KEB for the F6 Combivert Inverter Drives series. Within an automation cell, it converts fixed three-phase mains power into controlled AC output for regulating the speed, torque, and braking of an induction or synchronous motor. A built-in braking transistor, an air cooler, and a Type 3 safety module are integrated into the unit, allowing it to manage dynamic loads while reducing the need for external components.
The power section accepts a line voltage of 280 to 550 V and operates at a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz. The DC link is held at 565 V when the rated 400 V line is present, and the gate drives use a rated switching frequency of 4 kHz to balance acoustic noise with motor current ripple. The IP20 enclosure is suitable for cabinet installation where finger-safe protection is required. Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 5 to 40 °C, while operation from -10 °C to 45 °C is possible with derating. Drive application data, encoder feedback, and fieldbus messages are received through the Multi Encoder Interface, CAN, and Real-Time Ethernet ports. The mounted housing uses size 2, providing a consistent format for panel installation.
The software overload limit is 150%, while hardware shutdown occurs at 180% to protect the power devices during a fault. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 2000 m above sea level without correction, and operation is supported at a noncondensing relative humidity of 5 to 85%. The drive may be stored at temperatures from -25 °C to 55 °C. During transport, it can tolerate temperatures from -25 °C to 70 °C. The power input supports a three-phase 400 V AC/DC mains connection for use in standard industrial control cabinets. These operating limits help protect the internal electronics from excessive heat, moisture, and electrical stress during service, storage, and transportation.
