Product Description:
The 12.F6.K1D-YH0M is a three-phase inverter drive produced by KEB as part of the F6 Combivert Inverter Drives series. Intended for industrial automation, the unit modulates motor voltage and frequency so machines can match speed to process demand instead of running at a fixed line rate. It supports sensors, field wiring, and feedback devices within the same housing, allowing motion control, safety stops, and diagnostic data to be managed without external interface modules. The product is used in conveyors, pumps, and energy-saving fan arrays where variable-speed control reduces power consumption and mechanical stress.
The signal interface includes two analog inputs that accommodate command sources. They can be driven by 4–20 mA current loops commonly used with industrial transmitters or by ±10 VDC voltage references from PLC cards. A single analog output returns operating feedback between 0–10 VDC, allowing remote panels to display real-time speed or torque. Discrete logic is handled by 8 digital inputs for start, direction, or preset selection and 4 digital outputs that indicate alarms or ready states. The drive also provides two encoder channels, permitting incremental and absolute feedback for closed-loop vector control without additional hardware.
Power and protective functions are integrated into the base unit. A brake transistor supplies up to 2 A maximum, providing dynamic stopping capability for light-inertia axes. The control electronics are energized by an external 24 VDC source, and their power consumption peaks at 4.8 A. Auxiliary devices connected to the encoder ports may draw a combined 500 mA from the same supply. One Form C relay output isolates high-level fault or run signals for plant interlocks. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, making it suitable for cabinet mounting in clean indoor areas. The housing measures 90 mm wide, 181 mm deep, and 250 mm high, which supports cabinet space planning.
