The 10.F6.K1D-YU4M inverter is manufactured by KEB for the F6 Combivert Inverter Drives series. As a general-purpose AC inverter, it modulates line power and supplies controlled voltage and frequency to motors, enabling closed-loop speed and torque control in conveyors, packaging stations, and similar automated equipment. It forms the central power module between the plant mains and the motor, performing regulation tasks that previously required mechanical gear changes.

With a rated output of 3 HP, the drive is suitable for light industrial axes. Its power stage can deliver carrier frequencies up to 16 kHz, while the generated motor frequency is adjustable from zero to 1600 Hz; these ranges permit precise control of high-speed spindles or slow-moving actuators. The current regulator closes every 125 μs, and the speed regulator updates every 250 μs, providing a tight dynamic response under changing loads. Eight digital inputs, four digital outputs, three analog inputs, and two encoder channels provide real-time signals for position feedback and process commands. An integrated brake transistor absorbs regenerated energy during rapid deceleration, and a pluggable CAN interface provides an additional network channel beside the primary fieldbus. Two STO channels provide functional safety for torque shutdown.

Control and auxiliary electronics are powered by an external 24 V DC supply, allowing the drive to retain communication when the main bus is off. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, making it suitable for installation inside a switch cabinet with controlled airflow.
