The 22.F4.C2R-4S00 is a frequency inverter produced by KEB and supplied in the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a variable output that lets automation systems adjust induction motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. By regulating motor voltage and frequency, the unit fits conveyor lines, pumps, and process drives that need closed-loop speed control.
The inverter accepts a nominal input current of 127 A and delivers an output current of 115 A to the motor terminals. Within this operating range, it can drive machines up to 55 kW, while the copper busbars accommodate supply conductors up to 50 mm². The housing is rated at IP20, so it must be mounted inside a cabinet. There are two programmable analog inputs and four programmable digital inputs. The analog channels are limited to a 5 mA sourcing load, while the digital channels have an input resistance of 4.4 kΩ. Two relay outputs provide form-C contacts for run feedback or fault signaling. A built-in RFI filter minimizes conducted emissions on the supply line. The inverter also has two programmable analog outputs, each rated for 5 mA. These inputs and outputs support proportional speed references, status monitoring, and external interlocking without additional I/O modules.
Drive protection is coordinated with a 160 A mains fuse, and the power stage can supply a nominal apparent power of 80 kVA. During acceleration, the current may rise to 172.5 A for short periods. The electronic trip is set to 207 A to detect stalled rotors or phase faults. Shielded motor cables may be used for runs up to 50 m to limit radiated interference and maintain accurate current feedback. Cabinet wiring and protective devices must remain within the applicable thermal, magnetic, and wiring limits during operation.
