Product Description:
The 19.F4.C1H-3420 is an AC frequency inverter produced by KEB for the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Classified by the manufacturer as a COMBIVERT F4 product, it converts fixed three-phase line power into modulated voltage and frequency for driving standard induction motors. The inverter is installed in control panels for automated machinery where electronic speed regulation replaces mechanical throttling and provides tighter process control.
This model accepts a three-phase mains input between 305–500 V, covering the full 400 V industrial network without external transformers. When supplied within that range, it delivers up to 30 kW of rated motor power and provides a continuous motor output current of 60 A. Internally, the power section operates at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz, balancing electromagnetic noise and switching losses. An integrated braking transistor dissipates regenerative energy during rapid deceleration, allowing the motor to slow without excessive DC-bus voltage. The electronics are housed in an IP20 enclosure, which requires installation inside a closed cabinet for protection against dust and accidental contact.
The output section provides 42 kVA of apparent power, supporting applications that combine high torque with moderate power factors. The inverter supports continuous operation from -10 to 45 °C. Conformal coatings protect the circuitry at up to 95% relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided. The inverter belongs to the 400 V class and uses an H-size housing for mounting alongside other F4 units. It also uses Compact control mode with the Standard fieldbus option, providing a streamlined parameter set and basic network connectivity. A three-phase mains terminal simplifies wiring in line starters and provides a direct connection to the industrial power supply.
