Product Description:
The 17.F4.C0G-4L11 frequency inverter is produced by KEB and belongs to the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. It modulates three-phase supply voltage and frequency so that induction or synchronous motors can run at the speed demanded by automated conveyors, pump skids, or positioning equipment inside an industrial plant. This allows the unit to adjust motor speed without mechanical throttling or stepped electrical control. With a shielded motor lead length allowance of 100 m, the drive can be mounted remotely from the machine without exceeding voltage rise or interference thresholds.
The unit is housed in an IP20 open-frame enclosure that is intended for mounting inside a protected control cabinet. Its cabinet-mounted form keeps live power components enclosed while leaving heat removal dependent on the surrounding panel layout. A three-phase mains connection draws a nominal input current of 46 A, while the inverter can deliver an output nominal current of 42 A to the motor terminals. When lower motor noise or different dynamic behavior is needed, the base switching frequency of 4 kHz can be increased to 16 kHz; doing so raises internal dissipation to 360 W. The inverter supports motors up to 18.5 kW and complies with electromagnetic compatibility limits in EN 61800-3. The 3K3 climatic category allows operation in locations where airborne dust is low and temperature variation is moderate, provided humidity stays within the stated limits.
Upstream protection is sized for a maximum fuse rating of 63 A, and the terminal blocks accept conductors up to 16 mm². The inverter has a motor-side rating of 29 kVA. Continuous operation is permitted at ambient humidity levels up to 95% without condensation, supporting use in humid production areas. The permitted line frequency span and three-phase topology remain unchanged across the operating window, so the rated 4 kHz switching frequency can be used for efficiency or raised when quieter motor operation is preferred.
