As an AC drive, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable output that can be matched to a motor’s torque requirements, enabling closed-loop speed and position control in automated machinery. Its field-oriented control algorithm regulates stator current vectors in real time, and the integrated braking transistor dissipates regenerative energy during rapid deceleration cycles. This control method helps the drive respond smoothly to changing loads and speed commands in automated equipment.
This model accepts a three-phase supply of 305-500 V AC and draws a nominal input of 36.5 A, so feeder conductors sized to the 10 mm² line cross section are adequate for continuous duty. Upstream circuit protection can use a 50 A mains fuse, which covers worst-case fault currents while staying below the drive’s semiconductor limits.
