Product Description:
The 15.F4.F1G-4R05 is a three-phase variable frequency drive manufactured by KEB in the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series. Designed for cabinet installation, it modulates AC line power to produce an adjustable output waveform for induction or synchronous motors used on conveyors, pumps, and other automated axes. By controlling voltage and frequency in real time, the drive enables speed changes, soft starts, and energy savings without mechanical gear changes. It also interfaces with PLC systems through standard drive commands for coordinated multi-axis control. This layout helps the drive fit packaged machinery and pump skids where motor speed must be adjusted without changing the machine transmission.
The inverter accepts a three-phase supply across an input window of 305 to 500 VAC, so it can be wired to 400 V or 480 V grids without tap adjustments. Its nominal mains level is 440 VAC at 50/60 Hz on a three-phase supply. A nominal line draw of 26.5 A is used for sizing upstream breakers and cables, while the apparent power of 17 kVA marks the rated conversion capacity. Under rated conditions, the drive delivers 24 A to the motor terminals. On the output side, the unit synthesizes 0 to 440 VAC, scaling with frequency so shaft speed follows the reference. The control stage supports operation from stall up to 0 to 1000 rpm, giving low-speed torque and higher-speed operation on the same machine.
The drive supports motor applications up to 11 kW. Continuous operation is permitted between -10 to 45 °C, and storage is allowed from -25 °C to 70 °C. The unit tolerates a relative humidity of up to 95% without condensation. An IP20 housing allows mounting inside standard electrical enclosures. The enclosure is intended for control cabinet installation rather than exposed mounting. Operation is permitted up to 2000 m above sea level, and shielded motor leads can reach 100 m.
